Corn On The Cob a la Chris Hawtrey
One ear per person.
Peel husk off of corn. cut stem off plus any part that has been eaten by bugs. Clean off the remaining hairs from the cob.
Place corn in pot and fill with just enough water to cover. Remove corn from pot and bring water to boil. Add corn and then reboil. Then turn off heat and let corn steep in hot water for 5 minutes. Remove promptly to not overcook corn.
